“Any updates?” I faceless woman asked as she entered the lab. The room was filled with lights and buttons and switches. Only a couple of employees running it.
“You just missed it, Ma’am.” One of the workers replied sadly.
“What? Someone called?! Why didn’t you report?” The woman yelled. “Just... let me see the recording.” She sighed.
“Ye-yes Ma’am.” He stuttered, clicking a switch. A voice was heard. A voice from a young, desperate girl begging for someone to save her. A recording heard too late.

On an early Monday morning at Main Street Cafe, the bells on its front door chime, signalling to the busboy of a tall, blonde woman entering the cozy little shop. “Back to tonight’s show: Terry Talks!” A narrator exclaims. “Tonight we have a special little guest! A girl who can see the supernatural!” The audience claps unceasingly. A little blonde girl is escorted on stage by an attractive woman, seeming of no importance. “Give her a hand, everybody!” The host cups his hands behind his ears as if to absorb the new wave of cheers.
